Hi! I’m Max, I’m a writer, director, producer, and editor, studying film at The City College of New York. I love making films, having already made five so far. I also have a passion for screenwriting, as I’ve written four features, two pilots, fifteen shorts, and five plays. I’m mostly interested in the stories of young people, especially teenagers. I feel like a lot of teenage representation nowadays is so artificial with those films being written and directed by people who are usually over 20 years removed from that experience. I just want to bring teenage stories back to the days of John Hughes when verisimilitude was honored above everything else. I also love to write stories about flawed people, the characters I feel that are usually the most interesting in any story. I believe powerful conflict can be internal as well as external.
